ZURICH FILM FESTIVAL 2019

The renowned festival has been inviting film enthusiasts and filmmakers to Zurich since 2005. In 2017 alone, it attracted around 98,300 visitors to the city. The filmmakers of tomorrow present themselves and artists from all over the world compete against each other in various categories. The ZFF has created a special category for directors from German-speaking countries and their works: “Focus”. The aim is also to foster an exchange between established filmmakers and new talents. The Zurich Master Class or the international Zurich Summit have become important forums and meeting places for the international film industry. The main prize of the festival is the “Golden Eye”, an award that is ceremoniously presented to guests of honour and winners of the categories.
