Booking & Availability
How do I make a booking request?
Via our booking form. Enter the period, number of people and any special requests.
How quickly will I receive feedback?
Usually within 24 hours.
Can I view the apartment in advance?
Viewing is possible depending on availability and length of stay.
Please inquire early and let us know your preference.When is the booking confirmed?
The booking becomes valid once the rental agreement is signed.
Prices & payment modalities
What is included in the rental price?
Utilities (electricity, water, heating), internet, 24-hour emergency service, furnishings, equipment and inventory.
Serafe tax:
The Serafe (radio/TV tax) is a personal tax for residents of Switzerland and is not included in the rental price (Info: www.serafe.ch)
Are there any additional fees?
Additional fees may include possible final cleaning, deposit or processing fees. Any fees are shown transparently in the booking overview and in the rental agreement. Additional costs may be incurred in the event of damage or excessive soiling.
How does the payment work?
Usually by bank transfer. For longer stays also monthly against invoice. Advance payment in exceptional cases. Credit cards are accepted (transaction fees may apply).
Stay & facilities
What is available in the apartment?
Each apartment is fully furnished and equipped: kitchen with appliances, dishes and tableware, bed linen, towels, internet, washing appliances (in the apartment or in the house). You will find the exact details in the respective apartment description.
Are pets allowed?
Yes, in most apartments. There is a one-off pet fee.
Check-in / Check-out
How does the check-in work?
You will receive all access information by e-mail before your arrival. Check-in is contactless, flexible and is not tied to any handover times. Check-in is possible from 15:30 onwards. Earlier check-ins are possible on request. A fee may apply.
What should I bear in mind when checking out?
Please leave the apartment swept clean and dispose of waste properly. We will take care of the final cleaning. A few days before check-out you will receive an overview of all necessary information by e-mail. The check-out time is always at 10:00 am. Late check-outs are possible on request. A fee may apply.
When will I get the deposit back?
After check-out and successful final inspection, usually within 30 days.
Legal matters & residence in Switzerland
Do I have to register with the residents' registration office?
Usually yes, for stays of 90 days or more or when establishing residence. Please contact your respective municipality in such cases for proper information on local requirements, as these may vary.
Do I receive a rental certificate for the authorities?
Yes, you will receive a standard rental agreement in accordance with Swiss law which can be used to register with the local registration office.
Cancellation & Changes to your booking
How do I cancel my booking?
Cancellations may only be done in writing. The notice periods in the rental agreement apply.
Can I lengthen or shorten my booking?
Extensions are possible depending on availability - please inform us as early as possible. Ending a contract early may incur costs depending on the contract. We generally issue open rental contracts with a short notice period.
